came across a couple of them while checking out this new site which is supposed to be competition to google (http://beta.previewseek.com)....

anyway, the preview seek site is pretty cool.. gives a whole lot of options/help in terms of a search, but i guess the elegant simplicity of google is tough to beat... just the search stuff, with a couple of sponsored links/ads thrown in subtly and unobtrusively - guess you can
tell i'm a fan. :-)
