the Opus Dei is involved in a lot of stuff in the country - they
currently run two study centers in india (that i am aware of) - one in
delhi and another in mumbai.
i have participated in two of the social work camps they've organized
- one to help waterproof water tanks in sat tal and another to help
rebuild (though we were there only to clear rubble) a camp in gujarat
after the earthquake.
other than this, they run classes to teach students computers, normal
tuition classes and even some musical instruments.
to the best of my knowledge, they've never employed assasins :-)
